CSIF is the owner of Monek Yug, a mining equipment company with more than 47 years of experience in the field.
The plant's origins date back to Bulgaria's post–World War II industrialization efforts, aimed at boosting regional economic development. During the socialist period, the factory became an important player in the country's mechanical engineering sector, producing a wide range of industrial equipment and precision components.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the plant expanded its operations by integrating new technologies and modern production systems, which significantly increased both its output capacity and product quality.
Following the political and economic transition after 1989, the factory faced considerable challenges but successfully adapted to the new market environment — reaffirming its role as a modern manufacturer of industrial machinery and metal structures.
Monek Bulgaria Jsc. covers a production area of 106,000 m2, of which 40,500 m2 are fully built-up manufacturing facilities.
The company operates several specialized production units:
- Workshop for mining and drilling tools
- Workshop for mining and metallurgical equipment
- Workshop for technical rubber products
- Tooling, prototype, and foundry departments
The enterprise employs 94 qualified professionals, including 15 engineers and technical or economic specialists and 79 skilled technicians with specialized or additional engineering education.
The factory also operates an in-house testing laboratory, fully equipped to perform quality control throughout all stages of the production cycle.
All products are delivered with a Certificate of Quality and are manufactured in accordance with Bulgarian State Standards (BDS), which are fully aligned with international ISO norms.
Monek Bulgaria Jsc. maintains a comprehensive Integrated Management System, certified under:

- ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management & Carbon Footprint Reduction
- ISO 45001 - Occupational Health and Safety Management
- EN 1090-1 / EN 1090-2 (TÜV) - Execution of steel and aluminum structures & welding quality requirements
In addition, the company has implemented strict data protection policies in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
The quality and reliability of Monek Bulgaria's production are recognized both in Bulgaria and on international markets, including Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, and others.
The mechanical assembly workshop is equipped to manufacture products serving the needs of mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, and construction, as well as lifting and transport machinery and spare parts.
Monek Bulgaria Jsc. employs a highly competent engineering and technical team, supported by a dedicated Technical Department responsible for the design, construction, and technological documentation of machinery and equipment.
Most of the company's product range has been developed entirely in-house, reflecting the enterprise's engineering capacity and innovation culture.
The Technical Department operates with advanced CAD/CAM systems and highly skilled professionals, ensuring precision, efficiency, and adaptability across all manufacturing stages.
